Dapurnya luas tapi still kosong ... kalau lah boleh dibuat kabinet.

Nampak tak kabinet tinggi tu... kat situlah kami tempatkan tilam dan bantal extra.

Yang okay nya .. kedai dobi kakak ipar kat ground floor ajer... So, bab cuci mencuci cadar dan selimut takde masalah lah...

cuma sekarang ni our 'manager' nak pindah ke Kemaman pulak... maybe early next year...

Bilik- bilik nya biasa ajer kan? Actually ada jugak perancangan nak masukkan aircond - tapi takut bulanan yang tinggi ... takut terbeban pulak.. sekarang ni kalau boleh nak kurangkan monthly commitment..

Bailey's Court Apmt - part1

Masa belek2 Picasa terpandang pulak gambar-gambar ni. This is our Apartment kat Kuantan. Al-kisah kunun nya apartment ni kami sewakan ala-ala hotel/motel gitu. Nampaknya memang ada penyewa. Mostly daripada tetamu kenduri kahwin. Misalnya ada orang luar yang akan bernikah dengan orang Kuantan dan datang berkeluarga bolehlah bermalam di sini...

Alhamdulillah, walaupun kami tak pernah lagi merasa duitnya. Sebab dengar ceritanya duit itu akan di rolling untuk maintenance dan cukai pintu serta pembelian perabot... tapi at least, sekali sekala kami pulang ke sana dapat lah bermalam. For me, rumah tu quite big dibandingkan dengan apartment kami di Subang. Bangunan tersebut ada lif walaupun 5 tingkat. Dan unit2 lain adalah hotel/ hotel apartment/ Ballroom... yang diuruskan oleh Greenlast (kalau tak silap). As for us, kami ada lagi sebijik unit yang lebih kecil yang disewakan kepada one of the college student on yearly contract basis.

Actually, tu semua hasil dari tanah pusaka arwah Aki husband... but I think status rumah-rumah tersebut masih belum jelas sejak pemergian isterinya (wan) beberapa bulan yang lepas..

Aku memang blurr pasa pembahagian harta/ faraid ni... InsyaAllah kalau ada rezeki tak ke mana kan....

Grille Design

Ni lah ropenya grille yang Ken** design and dalam quotationnya berbunyik....

GRILLE WORK

1-1 To supply and install 2/8" x 6/8" solid flat bar
with floral design with powder coat finished,

a) for all window. - 19 sets ----

b) for 1 main door, back door and side sliding
glass door. - 3 sets ----

Memula tu hangin gak akak naper mahal sangat bukannya wrought iron..

pastu kebetulan kami buka tender untuk spare part cabinets kat opis... cuba gak tanya2 kat kontraktor yang ada jugak supply grill installation ni..

Katanya kalau 'powder coat' tu lagi mahal - sbb dia akan bakar pulak that grill dalam oven.. so, akan tahan lebih lama - tak berkarat...

ntahlah the husband bila dengar camtu lagilah hepinya.. kes malas nak cat lah tu!

Last2 akak terpaksalah grab jugak offer Ken**...

d' Yemen's Villa

Saje nak upload gambar2 rumah husband masa stay kat Yemen. Bukannya apa... Dah ada dengar husband nak kuar semula... most probably nak pi Saudi. Akak pun teringat gak umah kat Saudi dulu.. kalau ada gambar bolehlah akak upload...

At least, ni antara our house yang we all / he pernah stay ...

D' Boboy Room....

Ini bilik Boboy dalam 3D Design. Tapi BOY@ Anwar Syafiq taknak this furniture bcoz dia nak katil kereta F1 yang ada dijual di Courts. We also think that this is not necessary for now. Let's Boy enjoy his life - Despite all this, boy boleh muatkan some of his toys ... yang ku tak larat nak kemas tu.... So, boleh jugaklah bilik ni jadi playland depa... hahaha

Raya Mood ... slow progress'

After celebrating Hari Raya ... actually on last Sunday, we were at site and i had a mix feelings- those rasa nak marah and bengang.

First because tak nampak sangat on site progress, second because of my aircond point dalam boy's room di relocate atas pintu bathroom. I dah kata why the ceiling is too low... and third, i tak nampak any light points kat car porch

Ken**'s wife just delivered a baby boy... congrats to them. Maybe dia agak sibuk sebab tu or dia asyik ulang-alik KL for a bigger biggest project.

We met at his office for explanation...

First, because of they busy at the factory - siapkan all those build-in furniture- granite, wood ceiling, flooring, cabinets...

Second, he knows his mistake- not consider the aircond location when design the ceiling - a bit discussion on it... at last i agree with him dengan ada rasa sikittt tak puas hati ...

Third, katanya dia dah include dalam kiraan lampu yang kami kena beli tuh... i think dia tertinggal nak tanda dalam plan tu.. so kontraktor tu tak buat lah.

I just asking him - seems like behind schedules... wall painting pun belum buat lagi...! Boleh tak siap dalam masa yang dijanjikan... katanya boleh except for grille - this is our mistake sebab lambat confirm... so, for that still has a month.

'Pacific Cooker Hood...

The truth, we dunno exactly apa2 brand yang ada di pasaran... But after we bought the cooker hob baru lah try 'browse jenama yang agak familiar... hahha i'm not brand minded anyway, so asal berkenan di hati ajer lah.. kalau rasa ada feel .. beli lah, kalau tengok pun tak ada feel ... nak buat camna kan?

And terpandang pulak this website - Pacific dan kebetulan showroom nya ada kat Kota Damansara. So, tak jauh dari rumah kami di Subang Impian tu... Teringat ada banyak iklan nya dalam Anjung Seri kan?

I asked the husband pi survey and dia pun agak excited jugaklah membelinya..

So, here it is.. dah pos ke Office Ken**

Changed and shocked !

See, we cannot hope will get the same on 3D design. As per site visit- we really regret when Ken** told us that they have to change the design of plaster ceiling at our living due to the beam structure of the house.

Ken** did take the picture but we didn't. I noticed that they demolished the existing plaster ceiling to fit the electrical points and replace with a new design.

Below is a new design which i can say its so simple and did not meet my expectation. We still asking for his advise if anything can be done.

Actually, it should have the hidden lights as we can see in the right picture. Compare this two, i dunno what will happen next... hahha
And i dropped a few comments in his mailbox.

at our left is my masterbedroom and at the most right pic is boy' room

my comments is why the ceiling is not design as if i want to install the partition of our walk-in closet and why the lower part of the ceiling is too low...

I knew he already had the answer but i just want to make sure of everything before it's too late!

Electrical Layout

Actually, before those electrical fitting job, they prepared the electrical layout. Basically, i just follow on what they proposed. Only a very few why-why questions... bcoz kalau dia explain pun bukan 'akak paham.

Basically, this is our electrical layout - slightly changes in outside layout only...

Electrical Fitting....

Seeing that our activity for weekend is alwiz site visiting. Few pictures of the progress will be posted later. As for last week they are finishing the electrical fitting and start doing the ceiling part.

Habis satu rumah berlubang-lubang ditebuknya - Mr. Wireman pun tengah khusuk sangat tu!













Keadaan yang dah tak serupa rumah. Tebuk dinding for wiring and plaster ceiling yang dah ada tu pun terpaksa dibuang semula...

Shermenns hob and sink

Berpusing-pusing lah jugak nak cari this two items... round 2-3 kali baru nampak Liv*** Text*** kat Melaka Raya. Afraid of being frustrated, i asked my husband to go and check first... ada tak apa yang dicari. Then my husband came back and said- "Better you check it yourself, even though a little bit expensive...".

Snap a few photo - in my notebook at home and dunno why cannot access internet. Nak troubleshoot pun tak sempat bcoz that big brother couldn't help himself playing games all day...

So here is the picture... tensen 'akak tengok tap yang di display tu... memang kelas berkilat abis

... satu tap -+RM 500.. hahaha yang paling murah pun dalam RM 200. i usually use yg RM 20 ajer.. ntah ada lagi tak yang rege camtu. Jamu mata bolehlah..

Sink tu? lepas digoreng oleh mat salesman tu- kami belilah dengan jaminan tahan karat, no fingerprint, senang dibersihkan, kualiti tinggi... apa lagi. Hah semua kriteria pancing undi... at first nak beli yg dlm gambar (drawer bwh) tapi katanya yg berkilat pesen lama pulak .. udah akak beli yang (drawer atas).

Ni pulak 'kitchen hob' yang dicari2 ... ada 3 burner and burner-burner nya nampak tahan lasak...

Dah tak sempat nak ke tempat lain sebab Dhia demam, sambar this one and terus delivered ke Ken** office. mission accomplised!

KIV's Project

I think this is not bad at all. But still KIVing. Better see first the first stage of implementation. Who knows if we 're not satisfied - only if we're satisfied enough we will proceed with this installation of girl's room furniture.

Dining

Our dining in 3D design.

Jalan-jalan cari perabot...

For the kitchen, we've to prepare hob and kitchen sink... at least they want the cut out size to build up the concrete top.

so, we all pi jalan2 last weekend... dari satu kedai ke kedai yang lain- seronok rupanya men'survey' perabot ni. And we stucked at one kedai perabot jati keraton - lebih kurang lah bunyinya tu. We all round habis 3 unit rumah kedai 3 tingkat tu. Anak -anak pun okay while Dik Syira we left at home.

Seronok sangat dengan perabot2 tu sampaikan terdetik rasa menyesal buat built-in furniture. Actually we all nak survey dining table and sofa maybe- but macam2 yang kami jumpa. Anak2 pun sampai lenguh kaki turun naik tangga bulan posa ni.The two big sisters tu nasib baik tak mintak nak berbuka.

Tapi bila fikir-fikirkan balik - perabot jati tu sesuai untuk rumah yang luas barulah cantik. Kalau takat rumah teres ni beli nak comel2 ajer bolehlah ... macam bench ke, side table ker...

And the next day, met with one kedai -second hand furniture from Singapore. Re-thought again.. rasanya tak salah kalau nak beli dari sini even kami dah berkenan benar dengan a set of dining table ni. Solid wood tak ingat kayu apa merbau or nyatoh and kerusinya from 'jut' design.

Tengah belek2 and test duduk, the tokeh came and said " adik, meja makan ni dah ada orang beli... baru je ...abang yang tadi tu..." alamak takde rezeki!

And my husband pulak terberkenan sangat dengan an outdoor set from kayu resak. Actually, kayu resak ni yang guna untuk buat tiang elektrik dulu-dulu, ingat tak? of course lah tahan dan sesuai letak kat luar...

one more thing, ada juga pintu-pintu terpakai dari kayu nyatoh... kita cuma perlu ukur pintu kita... cari yang agak2 padan dan kalau besar/panjang dia akan potongkan ikut kesesuaian.

Rasanya akan selalu kunjung kedai tersebut... According to her (tokeh) , bulan puasa ni they tak amik furniture from Singapore. InsyaAllah lepas raya kena pi tengok lagi.

lastly, mana kitchen hob and sinknya ...Ken** asked for it urgenly...! uhuk!

bz betul depa nak nolong. Actually masa tu Sunday, uncle contractor tu cuti. So, Boy and Baby pulak sambung keje...

Kick-off thirty percent paid!

We got the final quotation excluding grille design and installation. For the grille itself we've to pay 13K. So, still pending.. haha... We were at ID office last Monday discussing the final 'quote'.

And as soon as thirty percent of amount paid, they start their work. Surprisingly, when we were at site on Saturday... they already finished demolish existing brickwall at kitchen area and start construct extention area.

Kitchen Review...!

Just wanna share the pictures of my husband friend's kitchen at 'New Providence Wharf Apt - London'. My husband took the picture when he was there last year.

Kenapa ye dia ambil gambar ni- rasanya dia sukakan aluminium finishing tu ajer... senang nak dibersihkan. Tapi kalau kat sini biasanya that material tu digunakan di restoran2 for heavy duty kitchen. Anyway white is beautiful- but my kids still kids- couldn't manage to use the white furniture...

final is final...

Finally, I've made up my mind and at last here it is... I admitted that the kitchen is the toughest part for me to accept. I still not really satisfied but for now this is the best. Alhamdulillah - at least I decided to use solid 'nyatoh' for the cabinet and 'mimosa granite- vietnam' for tabletop.
